Basic managed switch question: limit speed toward internet but not towards the NAS.

Hello, I bought a GS116E_v2 and so far I'm happy with the purchase.
In the future I might create a LAN as shown in the picture, with 4 or more PCs connected to the switch, a NAS and a connection to a slow internet (for example 20 Mbit/s).

Is there a way to limit the speed of the PCs so that a single one is not able to use all the bandwidth towards the internet, but at the same time still have all the speed while using the NAS? I've seen that there options to limit the speed per port, but if I limit the speed of the ports of the PCs at like 5 Mbit/s a single one won't be able to use all the bandwidth of the internet, but won't be able to copy large files from the NAS as well.

Thank you.

Not that easy, certainly not with a L2 switch.

In general, it's not that one PC is using all bandwidth, e.g. because it started something first, it's always kind of a sharing. What you might want is to keep some bandwidth or services in a preferred way, this is what some router QoS services can do.

If the plan is having a bandwidth reservation of at least x Mb/s for some PCs, you need a business class capable router or security appliance, where this can be configured. A hard limitation to say 4 * 5 Mb/s is a bad idea, because it would be  very bad usage if not all PCs are active concurrently.
