GSM7228PS frozen upon boot up after firmware web update
Hi,
I recently updated my switch to the latest Netgear Firmware 10.0.0.53 via the web interface and all good. Now a few days later the unit is unresponsive and it now is not booting. When you turn on the item only the M1, M2, 25/26 (sfp+) lights up however dont have things plug in at that stage and that's it. Even pluging in a cable into 1 of the ethernet ports, nothing.
Have tried the hard reset, no go.
Any ideas? Have started case with Netgear also.
Regards

Welcome to the community! 🙂
Have you tried to access the GSM7228PS via CLI? If not yet, kindly connect a PC to the console port of the GSM7228PS then check if you can access it. As reference, kindly read page 27 of the GSM7200PS and GSM7300S Series Hardware Installation Guide here on how to connect a console to the switch.

Re: GSM7228PS frozen upon boot up after firmware web update
Hey Mate,
Yep I have a cable on the way and Netgear are actually going to help me throuhg it to get it fixed via the Serial connector.
I'll give an update once this happens.
