MFA on managed switches
Hello! Are there any netgear managed switches that support MFA for the admin login? Our insurance company is requiring it even for INTERNAL access... which, I feel is overkill but.... not my call. ...

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.
No, we don't support multi-factor MFA for the admin login to the Web GUI or console telnet/ssh. Sorry, I agree, it would be quite a thing.
Instead, we support management access control (so CPU ACL) to restrict admin login to certain L2/L3 only. Also TACACs is supported for admin login.
I hope this helps!

Great! Thank you.
I'm not very familiar with TACACs but I have a feeling I will be! Would that work with older switches? Specifically GSM7352S and GS752TP?Thanks again!

Hi tastleford ,
TACACS is supported across all fully managed switch platforms, and yes, it is available in older versions such as GSM7352S.
No, the "smart managed" switches like GS752TP don't support it
Maybe a good time to consider our latest generations of fully managed switches:
Access Aggregation Core www.netgear.com/m4300
For your GSM7352S, please consult the technical documentation (GUI user manual and CLI guide) for TACACS:
v1 https://www.netgear.com/support/product/GSM7352Sv1.aspx#docs
v2 https://www.netgear.com/support/product/GSM7352Sv2.aspx#docs
Thank you!
