MLAG not working

I tried to configure MLAG as in the ManagedSwitches_SWA_10.1.0_14Oct2013.pdf

on two M7100-24X switches.

The LAG between the 2 Swtches is working.

But as soon as i want to use the LAG as the vpc link by entering

interface lag 1
vpc peer-link

on both switches i loose the connectivity between the two switches!

What do i wrong?

Here is the config:

  • Nearly the same Problem here.

We tried to use MLAG between two M7100-24X Switches.

Firmware is updated to the newest version 11.0.0.12.

We followed the instructions given in Document M5300-M6100-M7100_SWA_v11_28Mar2015.pdf.

First we established the peer link using ports 19 and 20 bundled to LAG 20.

Here we tried to use a dynamic link as suggested in the manual.

Even though no error occured, the link could get no connection.

The link was shown as down with no port active.

After changing the link mode to static it became operational.

Now we followed the additional steps to configure the vpc.

But as soon as we tried to assign the peer link unsing the command:

    interface lag 20

    vpc peer-link

we got an error as result.

    Any help appreciated.

Other Question, did you do the Static routing config aswell?
