NETGEAR Gigabit PoE+ switch automatically lost its voice vlan tagging configuration
We have a NETGEAR 48 ports POE+ switch model GS752TPv2.
running LLDP and set voice vlan to 20 for grandsteam phones to get its VLAN information.
Everything works fine until the PC connected to the grandstream phones power off, the PC is running Windows 10 and have LLDP protocol driver flip on. when the PC is powered off, might it send out a LLDP packet which triggered the NETGEAR switch to remove the configutaion of tagging voice vlan traffic. it happens automatically.
Only bu power cycle the grandsteam phones, will the netgear switch resume the configuration to tag voice traffic.
Wondering if this is a bug with netgear switch, it should not response the lldp message from the windows 10 PC and remove the voice vlan tagging.
Anyone run into such an issue?
Thanks for your time
