MR2100-1EEEUS does not have supported bands as its box says

Not sure if this was done in purpose, or by mistake, which M2 model 1EEEUS does not have same bands supported as 100EUS, while M1 has same supported bands for both models.

1EEEUS only supports B1/3/7/20/38 and 100EUS does B1/3/7/8/20/28/38/40/41 and they are carried in the same box, and of course with same LTE bands' support.

People who buying 1EEEUS is expecting to have same bands supported as 100EUS, that is the case for M1 but not for M2 (at least for now).

What is 1EEEUS — the branded version for the UK-based mobile network operator EE Limited?

Yes, 1EEEUS is locked for EE, the one that I verified to discover this information was unlocked. Customized band selection was added, B3/7, B1/3/7, for trial not come with the device.

Re: MR2100-1EEEUS does not have supported bands as its box says

Some updates on this topic, 1EEEUS is guarded by original FW where some bands were masked out from default available band for M2 to land on. With some tweak to open up that mask, I am now able to have all the bands that is available on 100EUS for 1EEEUS to operate. So this is done in purpose to mask out some bands by default for 1EEEUS model.

Congratulations! Do you want to be more specific for the potential benefit of other EE customers?

Re: MR2100-1EEEUS does not have supported bands as its box says

Both locked and unlocked users staying EE should have no much benefit, only when they want to go abroad where LTE bands is not fell into factory supported band, or need some extra bands to provide better performance.
