Netgear log emails to Gmail problems
Are you getting an error when setting up sending log emails to your Gmail email? Well, if you have 2 step verification on, some sites have a difficult time accessing Gmail account. So, go to your Google account and under security you have password, 2 step, app passwords, ,and Google account PIN. Choose app passwords and click select app and choose mail, select device and choose Windows computer (if that is what you use to connect to admin if router) and then click GENERATE. It will spit out a 12 character password (case sensitive ) for you to use as the password in the Netgear router advanced email setup under requires authentication. If you are getting STARTTLS error you need to use port 587. Click apply and then go to logs and send log to verify.
