Still having trouble setting bedtime in parental control
What am I doing wrong trying to set bedtime limits for devices on our Orbi?
• I have defined a profile.
• I have added a desktop device to the profile.
• I have created two bedtime settings:
Sun Tue Thu, bedtime is defined as 10:30 PM - 7;15 AM
Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat bedtime is defined at 11:00 PM - 9:00 AM.
• It's 11:32 PM, and the device is still accessing the internet.
• I suspected that maybe there was a problem with daylight savings time confusing the system. I've gone to the Admin screen and confirmed that the router thinks the time is 23:32:03.
How can a device override the settings for the router?
I have the Omni app running on my iPhone and on my iPad, but the settings are the same. Could that be contributing to the problem?

Any progress on this?
Can use a custom NTP server address.

Re: Still having trouble setting bedtime in parental control
It depends what you call progress.
Before my Smart Parental Controls trial expired, I talked with Support several times. I spent about two and a half hours chatting with them on three occasions to help do troubleshooting. Support finally confirmed that there's a problem with the current firmware and with the current version of the SPC app that does not work with ethernet-connected devices. It was undetermined whether it worked with an earlier version of the firmware or if this is a new problem
Support had me submit a bug report about a month ago. But now the bug is in a black hole. There seems to be no way to discover if anyone is working to resolve it or not. One of the support people told me that I could get it escalated if I pay $120, which feels like extortion to me.

Re: Still having trouble setting bedtime in parental control
I did, so I'm hopeful that I can help find a resolution for SPC.
But she hasn't replied to me yet.
