Netgear ReadyNas New User - Setup issues

Hi,

I have recently purchased 2nd hand a Netgear READYNas Duo 2 and been able to:

  • Install Drives
  • Reset the system
  • Updated the Firmware to 5.3.13

If I try to access via AdminIf I try to access via AdminUsing Netgear Radar to access the Admin PageUsing Netgear Radar to access the Admin Page

But I still cannot access the drive via my Web Browser (Yes allowed the Security Certificate and get the following screen whenever I try to get into the Admin Rights:

Does anyone know if I should be updating the BIOS Software further? Or has this device really come to total "End of Life"?

Any suggestions would be welcome!

To bypass the error message `SSL_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_VERSION`, do this in Firefox:

  1. Open the address: about:config
  2. Change security.tls.version.min to 1.
  3. Reload the page with the error message or open the address {NAS IP}/admin

I don't know how to do this i Chrome.

You can't.  But both Internet Explorer and Edge in IE mode will work. More info is in this thead:

@Vapebear once you regain access, you can install this add-on:

That will install TLS 1.2 on your NAS, so you won't need to continue with FireFox.

Thank you for the solution - I have now been able to access the drive and start the set up process 🙂

Glad it worked.

You can also have a look at the other solution where you install an add-on.

Now I can see your attached images. Maybe the forum needed some time to process them.

FYI, all embedded images need to be reviewed/approved by a mod before they are seen.  That can take a while (depending on how busy the mods are).
