ReadyNAS 214 - Update error message

ReadyNAS 214 - Update error message

Hi

 

I have a ReadyNAS 214 and currently when I click on the option to check for updates I get an error message (See attached screenshot).

 

Is there anything I can do to rectify this issue?

 

The Firmware version is currently 6.10.8.

 

After checking the support page for RN214 I can see that the latest firmware version is 6.10.9.

 

Is it safe to update from  6.10.8 to  6.10.9

 

Any help is very much appreciated

I'm seeing that also.  It has happened before, and is a problem that Netgear needs to fix in their back end.  After they fix it, it can take a day or so for the fix to propagate to the full internet.

I'm running it on a few ReadyNAS (including an RN202) with no problems.

Yes, It is safe to update the firmware from 6.10.8 to 6.10.9.

I have updated to the latest firmware manually but the issue still remains.

 

Everything else appears to be working fine, it is just the check for updates link that does not seem to be working
