ReadyNAS Backup Job Completion Detection?
I have a task I wish to automate via an SSH connection, but I need to start it after a backup job (regular scheduled backup to a USB drive) has completed.
Is there a way to detect when a certain (yes I have more than 1) backup job has completed via the CLI? Some sort of cmd with a response that could be parsed by a script to give a finished/running indication would be ideal. I already have SSH access etc.
For those interested, I am automating my backup verifications. Happy to discuss the project further...
Many thanks,
Ian

Re: ReadyNAS Backup Job Completion Detection?
Depending on your overall setup you might be able to use the email alerts (setting the backup jobs to always send alerts when they are finished).
You could also find the backup completions via journalctl.
