Update ReadyNAS 2120 firmware from very old version

I have a ReadyNAS 2120 that is currently at Firmware version 6.1.3.

When I looked at upgrading to newer firmware, there was this Warning:

  • ReadyNAS 102, 104, and 2120 systems must not be updated directly to 6.10.x from 6.3.x or older firmware. They must first be updated to either 6.2.5 or 6.3.5 then to 6.5.2 and then to 6.10.x.

However when I go to the Firmware download page, the availble versions do not list 6.2.5, or 6.3.5. In fact it seems to skip from 6.2.4 directly to 6.4.0.

So if I need to update to 6.2.5, or 6.3.5, where can I download those versions?

Thanks

6.3.5 was only for the RN200 series; 6.2.5 says it is only for the RN100 (but I believe it should work for the RN2120).  Hopefully one of the mods ( JohnCM_S or Marc_V ) will confirm which one you should use for your RN2120.

    The download links are

    https://kb.netgear.com/29498/ReadyNAS-OS-Version-6-2-5-RN102-RN104-Only

    https://kb.netgear.com/29397/ReadyNAS-OS-Version-6-3-5-ReadyNAS-200-Only

FWIW, the KB articles should be updated, so it's clear which release applies to the RN2120.

Thank you for the links. But based on your other comments I should probably wait for more information on what the update sequence should be, specifically for the RN2120...
