WD20EARS-00MVWB1 WD Caviar Green 2TB - New Version
I just bought a ReadyNAS Duo and was gifted two new WD 2TB external USB drives, which turned out to be what look like new versions of the WD20EARS. They are listed as:
WD20EARS-00MVWB1
I realize there may not be much known about them yet, but I thought I would open a topic on them just in case something turns out to be unique about them.
I've read up on the various issues with the WD20EARS-00MVWB0 drives as well.

- itbedaveAspirantOriginally installed these two drives in the Duo after updating to RAIDiator 4.1.8. Went through the wizard steps - both drives seen correctly but XRAID did not start and unit shows as dead.
Installed RAIDiator 4.1.9 T2 beta (nothing to lose at this point) and then did factory reset on the Duo. Went through wizard again, and 16+ hours later, setup is complete and RAIDar is showing that all is well thus far.
EDIT: fixed error on RAIDiator version #'s.
