Why can't I install games and programs on my computer?
Using a mtorrent app, I download a game or program to my network drive. Then, I open the shared folders and try to install the game or program on my Windows 10 computer. The operating system tells me: "there is no access to the installation executable file." But, my NAS has the latest version of the SMB Plus application installed. In the settings of SMB Plus the protocol version is installed - SMB 3.1.1 Please tell me why I don't have access? I have an old Windows XP computer, I can install games and programs on it without any problems.
ReadyNAS pro2 OS6.10.9

Does it work when you copy the file to your computer, and then install it from there?

Yes, I tried to do that. It works. But I don't want to do this all the time))
When SMB Plus was not installed, I could not install programs and games. Then I installed SMB Plus and could install programs. But later it stopped working again. I do not know why...

I think you are looking in the wrong place for the problem. It's unlikely to be the NAS (and certainly not SMB Plus).
Far more likely to be an internet security package running on the PC that is blocking the installation (or maybe a security policy registry setting that somehow got set on the PC).
Another possibility is that specific programs can't be installed because the installation assumes that the installer is not on a network share. If that is the case, mapping the share to a drive letter on the PC might work around the problem.
FWIW, what you are doing is very risky, as torrent downloads often contain malware that can be very difficult to get rid of.

Re: Why can't I install games and programs on my computer?
Everything is much more interesting... I have my favorite games and programs. Once I got my NAS up and running, I placed these files in the box for storage. I can get used to it and install these game programs from my box. BUT I cannot install the programs and games that I downloaded to the mtorrent help box.?

I guess in addition to the possibilities I mentioned above, there might be something going on with file permissions of the downloaded file(s). .
