ata1.00: configured for UDMA/133...
hello,
i'm wondering by viewing ultra's 4 log system, why my 4 HD western digital red series are configured for UDMA/133
despite of the fact that are sata drives ??

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThe udma/133 is setting the speed, not saying it is PATA.
From what I google, it appears that some first-generation SATA drives were modified PATA, and needed the speed set. But that all true SATA drives (e.g. any new drive) ignore that command.
In practice, 133 MB/sec is faster than gigabit ethernet, so even if it weren't ignored it wouldn't really matter anyway.
