cannot sign into Netgear account using Nighthawk app on my Samsung S23

To use the Nighthawk app I have to first sign onto my Netgear account. However, when I input my user name and password, I get an error message that says "Device not recognized" and will not log me in.  Login Denied

How do I rectify this??? 

I have no issue signing in with my laptop or desktop so confusing

Which username and password are you entering?

 

That final stage is to enter the username (admin) and password for managing the router.

 

This is the same details that you use when logging into the browser graphical user interface (GUI) using a wired connection to the router.

I am entering my user name and password for Netgear account as the prompt asks, not the username and password for managing the router itself.  They are independent of each other

You need both.

 

At what stage does it fail?

 

Can you login to MyNetgear with a browser?

Yes, I can sign in using browser on laptop and using browser on phone. 

 

The login fails immediately in NightHawk app.  As soon as I enter Netgear user name and pw, i get login failed message.  "This device not recognized."

Which app is this iOS or Android?

Yes, when the NightHawkapp launches on my Samsung S23(android), it requires me to sign into my Netgear account to use the NightHawk app.  I have tried clearing cache and changing the settings for MAC address to Phone Mac.  Still no resolution to use the app.

Try switch of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and make login using mobile internet.

I have the same problem. S23 Ultra. And it's works for me.

Has Samsung followed Apple in forcing random mac addresses on users?
