MR60 died. How do I add that units satellites to another MR60?

Hi all, my MR60 died today. it came with two satellites, I ran out to a retailer and purchased another MR60 with one satellite. How can I set up the two MS60s to work with the new MR60? They are showing as connected in the router's setup page, but the lights are always amber. Is there documentation on this anywhere? Syncing does not resolve it.

What firmware version are the old satellites on and which ones are they on for the new version? 

What I've seen some do is hardwiring in the old satellites to the new router and updating/syncing them that route. Once they're updated and synced, you can usually disconnect them and place them where you want.
