Losing internet connectivity with WN2500RP
Recently bought a WN2500RP and the initial setup was a breeze. I am able to connect to the extended WiFi, browse the internet, etc. However, after approximately 30 minutes (sometimes an hour or so, but definitely overnight if I leave my laptop on) my connection shows "Limited or no connectivity" and I can no longer browse the internet. I also cannot access the repeater configuration page thru http://mywifiext.com/ but I can get to it by entering the repeater's IP directly (which I can see in the list of DHCP clients on my router/modem, Thomson TWG870U).
Once I'm in this state, I connect to my router's WiFi directly and I immediately get internet again and I do not get this "Limited or no connectivity" problem over long periods of usage. If I try to go back to one of the extended networks again, my laptop goes back to "Limited or no connectivity" and I have no access to the internet. I would then enter the IP of the repeater and do the configuration all over again after which I can get internet through the repeater but only to see the "Limited or no connectivity" problem once again after some period of time (as stated above).
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

- jmizoguchiVirtuosoIf you simply power off/on does not fix it?
- Hybr1dzNoviceSimply powering off/on does temporarily fix the problem, but moments later I get the "Limited or no connectivity" message.
Yesterday, I've noticed that the problem seems to be related to assigning IPs. When I have one device connected and using the internet, I would try to connect a second device and this device would have a hard time obtaining an IP. Eventually, I can get an IP and use the internet on this second device, but then my first device loses internet connectivity. Seems something is wrong with the DHCP of my router although it seems to function fine when I connect directly to it.
I played around with my router settings and I changed it's "Switch Mode" from IPv4+IPv6 to simply IPv4. This also forced the router to reset itself (I do not have physical access to it, otherwise I would've tried earlier). And so far, I am seeing no problems connecting to the repeater for all of my devices and it's been this way since overnight. Hopefully, that was the trick. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoIf you don't use IPv6 then you wouldn't wont use it and some devices are only design for IPv4.
Good finding .. :)
