When I turn on OFDMA my ping in games starts to increase. I play on Playstation 5 connected via 5ghz wifi.
Geo-Filter - off
QOS - off
Internet Connection - 935/935
Channel 44.
Router version XR1000 1.0.0.74_1.0.63

Leave it off?
Ethernet connect the console to the router instead?

Hi!
Thanks for the quick response.
Now the console can't even connect to the network with WIFI 😞

That may or may not be a cause, could be incidental but you've disabled the two features that would help you keep your ping low so I'd suggest using them and see if you get the same issue.

Re: Netgear Night Hawk Xr1000 OFDMA lag in game
Hi.
Just turned it on:
- Geofilter
- QOS
The console does not connect to the network.
As soon as I turn OFDMA off everything works fine.

Are you adjusting the option while the console/game is on? If so reboot the console then check.

You may need to forget the WiFi on the console then reconnect again by retyping in the password after toggling the option

Are you getting issues with other devices connect to 5GHz with this? Also generally would be better to connect it to 2.4GHz if you have to play via WiFi.

Leave OFDMA disabled if your not really using it.
