Router keep dropping LAN connection with XBOX series X

For whatever reason, this router keeps dropping LAN connection. I have 1 gig internet. I have no idea what is going on.

It is just with the Series X? No other devices are losing connection? Do you have access to the interface when the drops occur?

This was plauging me for several months and I found it was Netgear's security software.  10x speed improvements once these fixes were enabled.

Advanced Setup

Disable QOS

Disable Port Scanning and DOS Protections

Respond to Ping on Internet Port

Disable IGMP Proxying

Disable SIP ALG

No my wife was having issues this morning as well. I just bought this thing. One thing I did notice is that the white blinking LED will turn amber?

Additionally when I open the interface I get a huge question mark in the middle and I can’t change settings.

Do you get that question mark when you try to access the interface during a drop or is it all the time? What firmware version are you currently running?

Yeah, I reset the device when I got home and everything worked perfect. As soon as the drop occurred and I tried to get on and mess with the settings I get that massive question mark. Whatever the latest update was. I’ll have to check when I get home.

Do you have an Adblocker on the web browser? If so then please disable that and it should appear correctly. Otherwise clear your browser cache/cookies and try again.

Still doesn’t change the fact it drops lan connection.

Sure, but has that resolved the issue with the interface displaying? Once we've resolved that it'll be easier to troubleshoot the disconnections. Did you find out what firmware you are running?

im having this exact same problem it just drop connection sometimes about 15 times in an hour and stops each drop lasts about 10-30 seconds idk what it is anymore 😞
