Setting up NETGEAR XR300 with my Asus AC3100
I recently purchased the NETGEAR XR300-100NAS Nighthawk Pro Gaming AC1750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router and want to just use it for LAN connection to PC for gaming and continue to use my ASUS AC3100 for my home wifi with no lan to pc connection. I am not sure how to go about setting up the Netgear with the Asus or if its even possible.
Thanks.

Put the XR router in the DMZ on the Asus and then you're good to go, you can connect what you want to the XR.

Re: Setting up NETGEAR XR300 with my Asus AC3100
Which asus model is it?
Do you have your own modem?
You could always go: modem---->XR300-----> Asus in ap (access point) mode.
then the devices connected to the asus would also enjoy the benefits of the xr300.
