XR500 has devices offline that are not and is preventing functionality
I recently purchased an XR500 and upgraded it to the latest firmware (2.3.2.56). I have already factory reset it twice. I have several devices that in Device Manager are showing offline, including my only gaming system, which is hard wired into the router itself. If using Table View in Device Manager, the port shows as connected under Ports Table but under Devices Table, it shows as being offline with no IP address assigned. My PC has shown up this way for the last 5 days. Because of this, no QoS rules are being assigned to the traffic originating from my PC. I'm not sure what else is impacted as a result of this.
Given that the primary purpose of this router is to prioritize gaming, and my only gaming system is being incorrectly identified as offline, this router is doing nothing more than any other off the shelf router. Other people have complained about this same issue, and so far it seems that nothing is being done to address it.

Ok. It didn't seem like it was being addressed in other threads, so glad to hear it is being worked on.

does this issue also apply to having a WAC540 AP connected to a XR500, and none of the AP clients showing on the XR500??

Re: XR500 has devices offline that are not and is preventing functionality
No that's likely an unrelated issue to do with the fact that the individual MAC addresses aren't being forwarded to the XR500.

Any update on when a fix will be available to address devices showing as offline when in fact they are not?

NG doesn't post when new FW is forthcoming. So you'll have to keep an eye out on there download web page.
Downgrade FW if its that important to you to v32.

I'm pretty sure that any rules they would usually be effected by will still be active.

Re: XR500 has devices offline that are not and is preventing functionality
I resolved it by returning the router and getting something else.

Re: XR500 has devices offline that are not and is preventing functionality
Found this thread while troubleshooting/searching for info on my new and fairly expensive device.
Pretty dissapointed to see its a known issue for atleast a year.
