Nighthawk SX10 Sometimes a red light on 10-Gigabit/Multi-Gigabit port 1 uplink
Hello,
I have a Nighthawk SX10 switch. Sometimes I see a red light on 10-Gigabit/Multi-Gigabit port 1 uplink. The manual says that the red light will turn on if the switch on any port detects a loop. I have from the wall jack to the switch port one uplink. Then from ports 3-8 plugged in with my devices. Sometimes, I see port one turning from blue to red. How can I fix this problem? The other end of the wall jack is plugged into a cisco 48 port switch model catalyst 9200 48 poe+.

Re: Nighthawk SX10 Sometimes a red light on 10-Gigabit/Multi-Gigabit port 1 uplink
The red light on your Nighthawk SX10 uplink port likely indicates a network loop. To resolve this, check for loops in your network, ensure Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is enabled on both the Nighthawk SX10 and Cisco Catalyst 9200 switches, and verify the uplink cable connection. Additionally, update the firmware on both switches to the latest version.
