Nighthawk AXE1100 losing internet

Hi, 

hope someone can help. 
I keep losing WiFi on my nighthawk axe1100

I have the most current FW loaded

rebooted the modem and nighthawk.

My internet is with Verizon Fios. I have there modem in bridge mode and changed the IP to be different from the Nighthawk. 
A Verizon tech has changed the exterior equipment because that is what they believed to be the issue.

what actual router do you have? Nothing you put is the model number.

What firmware are you on? not the "latest"

What ont from verizon is it connected to? 

Does it only happen to wireless devices? Wired are fine

Nighthawk AXE1100 6E

the only device connect to the Verizon g1100 is the nighthawk router.

hardware Raxe500

firmwear is 1.0.8.70

If you leave the G1100 in router mode (disable its wifi) and put the RAXE in access point mode, does it function properly?

I rebooted the Verizon modem about 2 hours ago so far iits still online this is the longest it has stayed on.🤞

The rep put the version router in bridge mode.to be a pass through to my nighthawk

WiFi on version router has been disabled.

It wouldn't be the first "passthrough" mode that didn't function properly. Its one of the reasons I sometimes have people leave the ISP device in router mode (wifi disabled) and put the netgear in access point mode.

How do I put the ips router in WiFi mode and the nighthawk in access point

I have one wired device coming off the nighthawk and that too is losing connection

in regards to putting your primary gateway back in router mode, you'd have to check with your isp.

just make sure the gateway is back in router mode before putting the netgear in AP mode.
