RAX200 compatible with CM700?
Hello, new to the community, thanks for reading my question.
I currently have a CM700 modem with an AC2600 (R7800) router and just got 1Gig service. I am getting about 300Mbps on all speed tests (~2 year old MacBook).
My question is, if I went to an RAX200 router, is my modem compatible with this new router? My concern is the WiFi 6 spec of the router. If I get this router, will I need to get a new modem? I'd rather spend a little more money now and know that I have a set up that won't become obsolete in a year or so.
Any advice you can provide will be most helpful.
Thanks!!
Wally

Re: RAX200 compatible with CM700?
Hi Wally2020,
Your CM700 should be fine with the RAX200. However, we have received some positive feedback surrounding the RAX200 and CM1100 if you're looking to replace your CM700.
Regards,
Christian
