Netgear R7300DST can not use IPTV

Hi guys,

I have a Netgear R7300 come with DST. However, I can not use IPTV, I also do the guide how to use IPTV on Netgear website but it couldn't work. Could you please help me to set up R7300 to use IPTV from ISP.

That's correct.

The model is intended to be used in the US and exclusively bought at BestBuy.

Try to see if enabling IGMP will help.

The setting can be found by accessing the admin page then under WAN Setup.

Who's the provider for your IPTV?

How is the IPTV configured, wired or wireless?
Just to verify, you also have followed the step-by-step instructions from this site, right?

Sorry for my late reply. I live in Vietnam so that you won't know the ISP. I didn't get any error messages. I use wired for IPTV.

Are you sure that Netgear R7300 with DST can use with IPTV?

I have done it already before but I didn't work. My ISP they don't have VLAN ID. They told me that you need turn on IGMP then it will work and connect to IPTV.

I have inquired this to our engineering department and they have mentioned that the router is not intended to be used in Vietnam.

So probably that's the reason why it's not working even after disabling IGMP.

So, there are no way to use IPTV in Vietnam. I am very dissappointed. The price of Netgear R7300 come with DST is quite expensive in Vietnam. Moreover, the DST is not good. The signal is unstable.
