EX8000
I am looking at buying the Netgear Nightawk Mesh X6S Tri-band wifi range extender model EX8000 to get coverage in my garden which is set back from the house by about 180-200 feet.
I cannot find anywhere the range in feet that the X6S will extend to.
I have searched online and some articles state 168 feet and others state 2500 feet but on the Netgear website there is no mention of how far it goes.
Can anyone help???

Re: EX8000
there's not hard rules as many things impact it.
I would say 180-200 ft is quite far and potentially to far.
I've tested it at my place with a line of site but my speeds were maybe 10mbps when I'm running gigabit in my home.
And again things can influence this like wireless interference, objects in the way, or even leaves could block signal at that distance.
If you need that far, you could always bury a cable that far and use something like netgears Airbridge device.
It works over POE (power over ethernet) and has access point mode. And its outdoor rated.
