Updates arrive on an "as needed" basis. There is often a flurry of updates for a new device as the bugs get squished. Then it settles down to plugging security loopholes.

Have you seen reports of anything that makes you suspicious?

In reality, scares that you see in on-line security sites can be theoretical things that come about when "experts" try to find ways to break in. Who knows if they ever escape into the real world?
