MR63 nighthawk mesh router Internet Speed throughput
What kind of throughput can I expect from my main router M63 Nighthawk Mesh WiFI router, I have 350/350 input with ethernet 150/25 and WiFi 300/40? Not sure if it should take it back and get another one

Re: MR63 nighthawk mesh router Internet Speed throughput
I don't have a MK system so can't attest to its speeds/performance personally. I haven't seen a whole lot of testing on it but one tester (https://dongknows.com/netgear-nighthawk-mk63-review/) hit much faster speeds than what you're seeing.
What modem do you have?
What firmware is on the router?
How are you speedtesting? (device, site, etc)

Re: MR63 nighthawk mesh router Internet Speed throughput
Thanks the article was helpful. The modem is an ATT BGW210-700, I have the latest firmware v1.0.6.110,
Speedtesting - Computer to modem using Ookla speed test 350/350, Nighthawk app 350/350 Computer to ethernet on the router 150/25 computer to WiFi 300/40

Re: MR63 nighthawk mesh router Internet Speed throughput
that att device has its own integrated router. it can cause a double nat.
https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
options? (only use 1)
1. put the att device in passthrough/modem only mode. Att hasn't made it easy with this route.

2. Put the netgears IP address into the att's dmz.
3. put the netgear into access point mode. this leaves the att device controlling routing. wifi/ethernet all still work, you just loose some features. https://kb.netgear.com/26765/Which-features-are-disabled-on-my-NETGEAR-router-when-it-is-set-to-AP-M...
