AC750 Model EX3700 and Synology Rt1900ac

Question

Hi,&nbsp;I can't get my new EX3700 AC750 extender to work with&nbsp; Synology RT1900AC.&nbsp; I can complete the setup but when I try a device to connect to it, it can only go as far as 'Obtaining IP Address'.&nbsp; If look at my router device list I can see the extender Mac address but no IP address assigned.&nbsp; Is this normal? Anything that I need to do in my router or with the Netgear extender?&nbsp;Thank you.&nbsp;alpot

Are you setting it up with the wps setup option or using the smart installation wizard?Try the smart installation wizard.&nbsp;Firmware on your extender?&nbsp;

Hi,&nbsp;Yes, we are using the the smart wizard.The Firmware version is v1.0.0.76_1.0.49.&nbsp;alpot

Have you tried hardwiring it in and seeing if it works in AP mode? Just want to make sure it works right.&nbsp;

Hi,&nbsp;Just tried WPS.&nbsp; Cable connected to same router.&nbsp; Everything works fine.&nbsp;alpot
