I'm hoping someone can enlighten me. We've been using way more data lately, to the point where we've had to move up to a higher data level. Twice. Neither of us is behaving any differently in our usage than we ever were, so I logged into the router to see who/what was attached. It looks to be just us. We each have a Fire, a Samsung Galaxy S7, and an Acer laptop (6 devices total). All but one Fire is showing attached, which is accurate. However, one of the laptops (mine) is showing as a desktop. They are both the exact same model Acer, so I'm confused. It's a small thing, but I'm wondering if there's something in the settings on mine that makes it look like a desktop instead of a laptop? And does it matter? Next call/search will be regarding our Verizon acct for usage specifics, but my curiosity was piqued with the laptop/desktop thing.
