Can I force 5G for a device when Smart Connect is enabled?
On a R7000 is there a way to always force a device to connect to the router using 5G when Smart Connect is enabled? I don't want to broadcast both 2.4G and 5G but my printer does not support 5G. Therefore Smart connect works best to avoid broadcasting both. However, my TV set top box always connects with 2.4G when I prefer 5G. I am 100% sure that my set top supports 5G.

Hi emanon,
When smart connect is enabled, it automatically connects to the either of the band. There is no way to connect it manually to a specific band.
