Netgear lost my Nighthawk R8500 registered device on a firmware update

for the past couple of years Ihave enjoyed my Nighthawk R8500 router that I bought Dec 30, 2015 from Amazon, but about 2 months ago I did a firmware update and I am no longer able to manage my device remotely. I tried to log onto the netgear site, but it says I have no devices connected to my account any more. I tried to register it again and it says it is already registered. This is frustrating!

Is that mynetgear?

Does it list any devices that you have registered?

How are you trying to do this?

Yes that is the NETGEAR site and through the NETGEAR genie app.

No, none of my devises show up. But my former devices are not in use right now.

I like to manage them remotely using the NETGEAR genie app.
