Netgear router seems to be the bridge mode and distributes public IP'n instead 192.168.1.X when it is connected with a cable. The router has 3 different wifi ssid'n and the two of them must also be public IP address. On the third ssid't get a private address but still can not access the admin interface http://www.routerlogin.com. DNS does not work in this ssidt We've tried to Reset it repeatedly by holding down the reset button for more than 7 seconds. The restart but seems unable to restore itself.

  1. disconnect the modem from the router
  2. reboot the router
  3. connect the PC to the router either wired or wireless
  4. access the ui through routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1
  5. if still not accessible make sure your PC adapter is set to dynamic NOT static
