Not real computer savvy....please help!
did the latest firmware update and lost the connection to my modem for 5+ days until my service provider came out to check if it was the actual internet line. Provider is Spectrum and technician said they have been having issues with the nighthawk after firmware update. Had a router from my dad, just wondering if I am still able to use the old one or if it is trash? Please advise

@DarrenM it seams that the latest FW 188.8.131.52 is buggy because so many issues - someone couldn't connect to internet, someone couldn't connect 5 GHz wireless devices, someone couldn't use dynamic QoS with this FW and also someone couldn't get to the internet on devices connected via OpenVPN. When we will get a fix???
