Nighthawk R7000 Ready Cloud

Hello,

 

I am not able to register my devices on Ready Cloud.  I have set up an account, but when I login to the router and attempt to register, it does not register.  Similiarly, if I attempt to detect the devices from the web interface, it does not detect the devices.  I have explornet (ISP) gateway/router and have tried the Nighthawk in both wireless and Access Point mode in vain.  Can someone point me in the right direction!

ReadyCloud should work fine with the R7000 in AP mode, it does for me. Can you please post your firmware version, and also the URL of the ReadyCloud site?

Hello,

 

The firmware version is V1.0.4.30_1.1.67.  I am reluctant to provide my username for the ready cloud site.  I have switched it back to standalone rather than AP until I can figure out this problem.

Can you provide the exact error message when trying to register the ReadyCloud account.

Having same problem my firmware is V1.0.5.48_1.1.79

Did it work prior to upgrading the firmware?

Have you performed a factory reset?
