Nighthawk x6 r8000 - I have to reboot weekly, any solution

Once a week I have to re-boot this router, I have a device that only can connect at 2.4ghz, the WiFi connection drops and it will not connect until the router is re-booted.  Also, thruput in general seems to fall well below what is "normal" for this router.  Re-booting the device will not solve the issue, every time it is the router that must re-boot.  I am on the latest code available, Firmware Version V1.0.4.18_10.1.49.  Is there anyone who has seen this issue and has resolved it?  I see multiple posts related to the same issue, have not seen anything for this model or any solution that has been presented that solves the issue.  Seems like this is a common issue with Netgear routers.

I also experienced similar issue with the latest firmware. I installed the previous Firmware Version 1.0.4.12 to resolve the issue.
