R7000 Enable Wifi on Schedule

Hi All,

I am trying to setup wifi on schedule so that my kids don't have access to Internet when they need to doing their homework.

I have setup the schdule, but it  DOES NOT TURN ON by it self when there is no time schedule for "Turn off wireless signal by schedule"

What are the steps to follow for R7000 Firmware Version V1.0.7.2_1.1.93

  • Hi Timmer66,

I can see that option in my the advanced wireless setup.

    "Enable Wireless Router Radio"

  • If you want to do it on the fly you can turn the wifi_ off manually - Page11 or disable radios - page 110. Wireless schedule - page 110.

Yes, I am able to do it,

but how to do it on the schedule?

Is this a bug that needs to be fixed or is there a work around for it?

I don't want to be around switching the wifi on and off.

      appreciate any insight..

the Turn off schedule settings should start with Time  OFF and then Time  ON..................If the button was set to off on top right side of router then nothing will turn wifi on again until it's pushed again.

Hello.  I looked on page 110 of the manual and it shows a check box to enable wireless radio.  When I go to that advanced page on my router, there is no longer any option to turn that off.  I also used to be able to from my Iphone.  I would turn it off when I wanted the kids off if they didnt listen to me, and I would just kill it from my phone, even in bed.  I cannot find any such option any more, from my phone or my desktop computer.

I am running the latest version V1.0.7.2_1.1.93.  This has been a bit frustrating.  It was a nice tool that was suddenly gone.  Any direction towards finding how to do this again would be much appreciated.
