R7000 NTP Issues

R7000 V1.0.9.88_10.2.88 

Wont sync time. Log reports:
[OPENVPN] NTP sync time failed. Get correct system time then reconnect. Thursday, Jan 01,2015 00:00:33

Tried a factory reset to no avail. Tried us.pool.ntp.org. Doesnt work either.

Please downgrade your FW to v1.0.9.42, perform a set up from scratch and retest.

Yes you can, BUT you may also get your problem back. The .88 is not the best firmware Netgear has produced. I would do as suggested of going back to .42 and stay there until Netgear get their firmware engineering fixed, if that is possible for them to do.
