R7000 home page / admin console not accessible from one PC

Hi,

This is a strange one, but maybe someone had similar experiences with R7000 or other Netgear router:

After flashing to FW V1.0.6.28_1.1.83, router's home page alias control panel became not accessible from one machine in my home network. I have tried reflashing and reseting to factory defaults (hard reset) but nothing helped.

Every other machine may access router's admin pannel - even a VM using another IP is capable of that. It looks like my primary PC's IP is in some kind of "forbidden access" list, not available in "Advanced" portion of "Netgear Genie" admin panel.

I have checked for any DNS / DHCP collisions, every device has its own IP reservation on DHCP bound to device's MAC, litteraly nothing changed in the topology of the network but I just can't access that page. Every time it's "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET" (tried different broswers, purging every cache etc.).

I would be most grateful for any suggestion at this point Smiley Happy.

Does your PC have Kaspersky installed?  If so, read this article (link).

Otherwise, I found this tip on another forum that you can try.  Warning, it's a pretty big hammer (it essentially resets the networking stack on your PC, so use with caution):

Open Command Prompt in admin mode (left click run as admin) and type this :

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /all
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew
netsh int ip set dns
netsh winsock reset
