R7900 port forwarding question regarding IP address

I am trying to forward a couple of ports on my R7900.  The darn instructions as for an Internal IP Address.  I've tried the IP addresses for my ISP, my router, the computer the security cameras are on, as well of the IP numbers that populate on the drop down list.  None of them are accepted. What am I overlooking? Thank you in advance for your assistance in this complicated mess.

   Ok.

With my weak psychic powers, I can't see "The darn instructions".

It might help if you started with an equipment inventory, and a
description of what's connected to what.  "the security cameras" is not
a very detailed description of anything.  (With an actual maker and
model, I might be able to find a manual on my own, or perhaps you could
provide a link?)  The ISP and the router are unlikely to be what you
want as a port-forwarding destination.

Assuming that you can, how do you access these (unspecified) cameras
from within your LAN?  Web browser?  (URL?)  Some special application
program?  ...?

What, exactly, does that mean?  As usual, showing actual actions with
their actual results (error messages, ...) can be more helpful than
vague descriptions or interpretations.

Hard to say.  Can't see what you're doing.  For example, what,
exactly, are you specifying for a port-forwarding rule?  Actual IP
addresses and port numbers could be helpful.  (You might want to keep
your external IP address secret, but the internal ones should be safe to
reveal.)  What's the LAN address of the router?

It might be relatively simple, but it's too soon to tell.
