R8500 CTF with PPPoE and VLAN Tagging

Hi,

Can someone please confirm if CTF (Cut through forwarding) is enabled with R8500 with PPPoE and Vlan Tagging On?

I am having issues and not getting over 600/200 on a 900/400 connection.

Thanks

Re: R8500 CTF with PPPoE and VLAN Tagging

It should have CTF enabled as that PPPoE CTF incompatibility was fixed by Broadcom a while back according to RMerlin a custom firmware dev.
If CTF was not enabled I doubt you’d get to 600 Mbps, it would be more like 300-450 Mbps without it if my memory is correct from some discussions a year or two back.

As Case 850 said try testing without VLAN Tagging by setting your modem to do it with a Transparent Bridge w/VLAN201 tag on the modem side.
