Strange Behaviour R8500
Recently this router has been getting sometimes reset to factory default and sometimes just the SSIDs change from whatever I made them to something like "NTGR-2.4G_AeDFiGJdCJHwOUlyaiQA0F" with very long random password such as "v41GWnMy0ZgQtZy" See the attached screenshot.
And one time, it looked like it was reset because the SSIDs were Netgear(...) and I wasn't able to connect to them. But also it wasn't giving my laptop an IP address when connected directly to one of its LAN ports, which means that its DHCP was off or something.
I changed the admin password to something very complex like "Hu,` fhg6i0lk". But still it gets reset somehow or the SSIDs change and so forth.
Anyone knows what's wrong with this router?

Re: Strange Behaviour R8500
This is some odd behavior I suggest contacting support for this issue.

Re: Strange Behaviour R8500
Already did. They ask for big money for an odd fault in their own product.
BTW, I forgot to mention the firmware version V1.0.2.130. Till I checked last week, it was the latest.
