how come the router cant block this address ?

i put it in the keyword domain name blocking and it cant block it why now?

netgear needs a fix for this cuz ad sites and spam sites are using the https to bombard us with ads hurry up netgear

HTTPS is encrypted and netgear isn't capable of blocking HTTPS from what I understand.

No I can't sorry. Try changing the Routers MAC address (internet Setup) and rebooting modem and router, this may change your public IP depending on your ISP

never said it would block HTTPS . The reason for changing MAC was to issue you a different public ip

Are you doing this from the OpenDNS Parental Controls or on the basic blocked sites settings on the R7000 itself? If not OpenDNS, I'd recommend looking into that if you don't mind using another DNS provider. Even though it says Parental Controls, I like to use it just to filter malware and have better DNS than the ones provided by my ISP, and you can setup a blacklist/whitelist on their control panel site. Another reason I suggest it is because it won't care if the site is HTTPS or not, it works with the DNS name and should block it no matter what.
