netgear X4 , starlink

says not compatible , no WPS on starlink ,
many other devices just hook up with wifi password . Why not this extender
Starlink extender needed !!!!!
Said nothing about not compatible till after you buy and try to hook up

    X4 doesn't mean much here in the forums. 

    What NG product are you referring too? Router, extender? 

     

    Contact the mfr of starlink for help and informatino regarding there product.

      extender nighthawk x4 ac2200 ex7300v2,
      problem is not starlink works fine with no extender . starlink router has no wps buttons .
      message came “ your router ( starlink standard ) is not compatible with starlink .
      you find that out after buying it !

        Too many people get the impression that Netgear routers lack WPS. In reality, they just haven't found it, partly because this feature isn't always easy to find.

         

        Perhaps Starlink is equally obscure.

    did you try installing it using the installation assistant? 

    the EX7300 is an extender only. not a router. 

    so you need to make sure your starlink router is running (and usable), then set it up using the installation assistant.

      There is no guarantee the extender will work with Starlink. It's not even certified for it. Next time do a bit of research if you want compatible Starlink devices.
