Nighthawk RAX40 Cannot change SSID
Hi,
I'm trying to install a replacement RAX40 for one that went belly up when trying to update the firmware. Finally got the new one to accept my ISP account for the internet and that is working fine.
But I can not change the SSID or Passwords for the WiFi. If I change the SSID and/or the password and click apply they revert back to the default after 'updating'. Firmware is the current version 1.0.3.94.
I have tried with ethernet connection and not. Using Chrome, Edge and Firefox. And Chrome on my mobile phone. If I reboot I need to reset the internet connection even though it seems to remember them.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Hello RWiltshire,
May you factory reset the replacement RAX40 by holding down on the reset button with a pin for 15+ seconds.

Re: Nighthawk RAX40 Cannot change SSID
Hi Christian,
Thanks but I have done that already. At least the router is working but it has meant I have had to change all the accesses around the house.
