RAX20 dropping connection or extremely slow
Spectrum > Cable Modem (Charter/Spectrum) E31T2V1 Docsis 3.1 > RAX20 (V1.0.11.112_2.0.77)
I've had to reset my RAX20 many times. Not sure what is going on. It has been a persistent issue.
Maybe something is getting it into a weird state. Not happy, and even with a TP-LINK old cable modem/router combo, I never had these issues. Prob shouldn't have "upgraded".
After reset of the RAX20 ONLY, the speeds go back to normal. But here is a test showing the slow speed.

Re: RAX20 dropping connection or extremely slow
Are you getting good speeds with a wired PC connected to the ISP modem directly?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
How is basic and advanced wireless settings configured on the router?
Be sure any mobile device MAC Address Randomizers are disabled:
