Hey everyone! As of late, i've been having random disconnections to my internet connection despite being hardwired in to both of my PCs. I reached out to my internet provider and they told me that the connection to my modem hasn't been disrupted whatsoever and that the disruption is likely coming from the router itself. I've tried hard rebooting, and even searched the web for answers to my problem leading me here still questioning if I would be just better off purchasing a new router.
If anyone has any idea what could possibly be causing this issue, any help would be fantastic!
Does the top Internet LED turn AMBER when this happens?
What Firmware version is currently loaded? What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Is there Protection Engine feature seen on the routers web page under Advanced tab/Security?
