RAX50 and Roku Media Player Issues
I recently upgraded from the R7500v2 to the RAX50. I have used an attached USB drive for years and streamed movies, music, and pictures through Roku Media Player or PLEX at times. With the RAX50 I am not able to see any of my files on the attached usb device through Roku Media Player. I can access readyshare on my PC and see the files so i know the router is recognizing the drive. Also, I can use Plex and play media from the attached device. I've tried to remove and readd the drive, reboot, rescan, and even got a 2nd RAX50 as I thought the first one was defective. Has anyone else had this issue? Thank you.

Re: RAX50 and Roku Media Player Issues
The R7500 had a DLNA server built into it. The RAX50 doesn't.
That's why it doesn't stream off it.
I wouldn't hold out on the R7500 keeping the dlna server if you update firmware on it because its been getting phased out on other devices to make room for netgear armor.
