Router Name Broadcom

My wifi router changed its name from Netgear to Broadcom. I did not change any of the settings but my wifi stopped working and then I signed into the wifi named Broadcom with the same password and it worked. I have gone to the admin page to change the SSID name but it does not allow me to change the wifi name.

Someone else have access to your router? 

Try a factory reset on the router and setup from scratch using a wired PC and web browser?

What brand and model modem is the router connected too? 

You have this RAX model router?

Might be a good time to factory reset and use a different password for the admin login.
